Teacher's Tools

Welcome to the Teacher's Tools Site.  This site contains information that is helpful in running your class and posting information to the website.

In order to get things started each High School Teacher will see their class listed on the homepage under "Virtual Classrooms" Don’t worry if you don't see your there yet as they will be completed on Monday, January 12th 2009.  All Virtual Classrooms will initially be made Public unless you prefer to have yours set to Private, so that only your students can access them.

From there we would like each class’s syllabus to be posted into the Virtual Classroom as the 1st step in getting this project going.  Instructions for completing this step can be found on the left.

1. Logon to the site on the homepage.
2. Click of your class under the "Virtual Classroom" heading
3. Click on "Site Actions"
4. Click on "Edit Page"
5. Click "Add a Web Part" under either the Left or Right heading
6. Check the box for "Content Editor Web Part" and Click "Add"
7. In you new Web Part click "open the tool pane"
8. Click "Rich Text Editor"
9. You can paste an existing syllabus into the box or creat a new one!!
10. When finished click "Save" and your syllabus is now on the website!!
